Best Way To Get 4 Candles By Year 3 In Stardew Valley

If you know how to play stardew valley or know at least how to figure your way around town these are the simplest ways to get the candles.

After you reach year 3 on the first morning your grandpa's ghost comes and talks to you about the farm. You can earn up to 4 candles on his shrine in the top left corner of your farm. There are multiple ways to earn points to get those candles. You can look them up on the stardew wiki but I want to share with you what I feel the easiest ways to get those candles.

When you get 4 candles and walk up to the shrine you get a statue of perfection that produces iridium every morning. Which is extremely useful and if you're anything like me and hate skull cavern this is extremely useful.

How I got enough points:
Total earnings 500,000
level 30 skill
level 50 skills
community center completion
community center ceremony
skull key
rusty key

Now how to get each of these.

While playing the game you'll be trying to earn money to try and get further in the game, you'll end up earning the total earnings of at least 500,000 pretty easily. you'll earn more points as you earn more money limiting at 1,000,000.

The next one is skills. Most of these are meant to be earned while you just play, and just knowing what to focus on makes it easy. So as I was saying while playing the game you'll earn up those skills. Once you get further into the game and skills, you'll have to focus on what you are missing and try and work your way to level 10 in each one.

With the community center, you just need a list of what you get each season and you can get it pretty easily by the spring or so of year 2. I plan on making that list on my blog so look there but if not you can just look up "stardew community bundles by season."

The ceremony happens soon after just by entering the area to my knowledge, you don't have to do anything special really just get some extra points for completing it.

The skull key is earned by reaching the final level in the town's mines, or level 120. This one is kinda hard, depending on how you play, but you can just do what I did and rush through the levels, you can even gather stone from the top levels and just make stairs and rush all the way down.

And lastly the rusty key. While playing the game you'll find artifacts and stuff to turn into Gunther. After you get 60 you are giving the rusty key unless you don't like the museum or Gunther, this one is really easy.

There are obviously other ways, that is the most amazing thing about stardew is that you can play in so many ways and directions you don't have to do any of those things to get the 4 candles if you wanted to focus on friends and family or completing things like cathing every fish. As long as you have 12 points, which again you can look up other ways on the wiki but these are my personal favorite I have done it twice now and its the easiest way.
