Animal Crossing New Horizons Bunny Day

I know this is after bunny day but I still wrote this up and thought it would be a cute post since I did work hard to get all the information and every single bunny day item. I also think this is mostly an excuse to show off my bunny room because it's cute and it took a whole to fit everything in it. Anyway here is bunny day in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Bunny day is based on the well known holiday Easter. Bunny day consists of a bunny coming to your town on the first of April and coming back on the 12th of April or also known as Bunny day. Throughout the 12 days of the bunny day celebration, you’ll collect 32 recipes which are all bunny day themed furniture and clothes. After you collect all the recipes from message bottles found on the beach or shooting down balloons, you’ll receive a special recipe on bunny day from the bunny man himself, Zipper. It is also said you can buy the remaining recipes from Zipper on the 12th. To my knowledge you get two recipes on bunny day, meaning there are a total of 34 recipes and items to craft

After making every item and decorating to your heart's content with eggs, you’ll most likely still have some leftover, now it might seem like a lot and you think it’s annoying and a waste but you can actually make a huge profit from selling some of the items you can craft with eggs. Also, another fun fact is you can eat the eggs and they will have the same effect as fruit giving you the strength to move trees or breath rocks. But if you are like me and want to make some profit off all the eggs surrounding you, here are the selling prices for each item in order of least bells to most bells

Eggs - 200 bells
Bunny Day Egg Hats - 800 bells
Bunny Day Shoes - 800 bells
Bunny Day Basket - 1,200 bells
Bunny Day Dress - 1,200 bells

With this information, you can choose what item you want to make a few items to get some money from this colorful event. I actually haven't done anything with my extra eggs, I am still not sure, I might leave them in storage or just sell them as is, we shall see as time goes on.

I actually really have been enjoying the bunny day celebration, I think it’s really cute and colorful and personally, I have no problem getting resources. There has been a lot of hate going around towards bunny day and zipper because of how many eggs have been around the island making it hard for some people to gather the resources they need, but Nintendo did patch this halfway through the event making fewer eggs spawn. I dedicated a room to bunny day in my house, as seen in the picture, and I think I’ll keep it. I spent a lot of time in Animal Crossing New Leaf gathering expensive furniture sets and making my rooms perfect, and I did get a perfect score but this time around I think I want to save my rooms for holidays or special furniture because I think it’s more interesting to have to craft the furniture than to just buy sets and I want to take full advantage of that.

Fun drinking game: read this post out loud and take a shot every time I say bunny!
