How To Make Tarantula Island On Animal Crossing New Horizons
In the new Animal Crossing New Horizons, there is this awesome new feature that lets you travel to other islands with a Nook Miles Ticket. Each island is random and you don't ever go back to the same one, meaning they are probably randomly generated every time. But there are different tires of islands. Like fruit, rock or money, shark island, and even a tarantula island. Some of these are hard to get, like the shark island for example. The reason you'll want some of these islands is two reasons, one is to get bugs and fish for the museum, and two is money. Tarantulas sell for about 8,000 bells each, meaning if you get an inventory full you can get somewhere around 240,000 bells.
But lucky for us, there's actually a way to make a tarantula island. I've seen things online about how to do this but honestly, I didn't really believe it, seems kinda odd. But I tested it out, and it actually works! This is how I made tarantula island.
First, you gotta go to a mystery island by spending 2,000 nook miles on a Nook Miles Ticket. Then you're going to shop all the trees and dig up the stumps. You're going to pick all the weeds and pick al the flower buds. you don't need to dig pup the flowers themselves, just the flower, not the stem. You are also gonna need to eat some fruit to smash and get rid of the rocks. Then you are going to pick up everything and move t to the beach. I also got rid of the coconut trees but I am not sure if you need to do that. At first, I didn't put anything down because I didn't know if it would work. After I caught a few I left the I stuff on the edge of the beach closest to the water. After all that, you pretty much just run around, scare ways or catch all the bugs that aren't tarantulas, including those little pack of bugs on the rocks on the beach. I spent about two hours or maybe more just running around and catching bugs. In April they added these things called water bugs and those make it a little harder, but after a while, it kinda gets easier, you just gotta clear everything, then scare off every bug, until they spawn. This has to be done when they can spawn. Make sure it's after 7pm and before 4am. or else they just won't spawn.
If you don't know, my personal favorite way to catch a tarantula is a slow way. To do this you gotta hold your net and slowly walk up to it when it puts its legs up you stop till it puts them down. ANd repeat till you get close enough.
I don't think I will do this every day but I think its probably worth the money and its kinda fun honestly, for me catching tarantulas are kinda scary and I like to hold my breath when I'm walking up to them. So it's a fun thing to do, and now you know how to.
