Some Things I Don't Like About Animal Crossing New Horizons

I have continued to play Animal Crossing New Horizons, a little while ago I posted a review on how I felt so far on animal crossing. I want to state again I like this game, I've played since game cube and I will continue to play but I have noticed some things that are either different from other games, or I just don't like. I plan to make a post about things I like about the new Animal Crossing because there are some awesome things. But for now, I kinda want to rant about some things I really wish they'd change.

1. Tools Breaking
So this was a new thing added to the game, similar to mechanics from Zelda Breath Of The Wild, and Minecraft. I don't hate this feature entirely, I think it adds a cool aspect to the game, but further down the line, you'd expect to be able to get better tools. I did a little research remembering there were things in the Animal Crossing franchise called Golden Tools. I did some digging and found that they were still in the game. But as I found, they also break! What is the point of saving up and working really hard to get far enough to get the recipe, and gather the rare materials just to have it still break? Total bust and waste of time. Sorry but that should not be how it works. Just my opinion though.

2. Touch Screen
So playing on the switch you'd think you'd have more touch screen capability. and a bigger screen then a 3DS where New Lead was. And one thing I really like to do is make patterns and outfits. I recently got the little upgrade to make awesome outfits. And I found out, you can't use the touch screen on patterns! Why is it on a tiny screen of an only half touch screen on a 3DS but not on a brand new game, brand new system, and you cant use touch screen. You gotta take your curser to each and every pixel. I'm sorry I thought this was supposed to be a better game and system?

3. QR Codes
When they implemented QR codes to animal crossing it was amazing. You could share your creations easily bu just scanning your camera to another screen. Now I understand the switch doesn't have a camera, but they did implement it on the app. You can use to for old codes but if you took the time to add that, why not make it where you can make them. Yes, I know there are just letter and number codes now. But doesn't that seem like a bit too much effort? Like normally id rarely scan the codes myself, id mostly make them, and I felt the QR codes were easy to make and share and it still showed the outfit in all directions, honestly I loved it. I'm kinda sad about it but to be fair it's easier to share pictures. But hey I still plan on making things and sharing them. I never got done to sharing many on here but I still have all of them and I still plan eventually to post them anyway. And ou finds even new ones once Ables shop is built.

4. Characters
I know this is a new game with a new plot, but I think getting rid of a while many characters makes me sad. Like Celeste, she showed up in my town and I was so happy to see her because she is so cute, but the way she was talking, I don't think there's any way she will stay, but to be fair they could add it later on in the game. But there are tons and tons of characters that they added in New Leaf. I wish they had ways to have different islands to include some more main characters. Honestly one of the main things I miss, and characters, are the cop dogs from the game cube, it was a nice little area to get free shit, but also they were cute. Yes I know there's a recycle box but so far all I've gotten are cardboard boxes.
